Light acts as a crucial role in Finland. In summer of 2011 when I arrived in Helsinki, daytime was much longer than evening. During the daytime, I felt like that I was totally covered by the sunshine, brightness and liveliness. In contrary, during winter time, all the people including me were cloaked by darkness. To describe the emotion what I felt during my stay here on this project, I chased metro newspaper lasts only for a single day from daytime to evening. Metro newspaper is quite helpful to see the whole one day from beginning to end. Whenever I found a newspaper, I took pictures in a tram, bus even streets twice by using a time lag to make them look like décalcomanie.
